Touring Gingerbread Houses at Walt Disney World

Sometimes, I feel like I missed my true life calling by not becoming a full-time Christmas decorater. Does such a job exist? Does that kind of magic really happen in the world? None the less, it doesn’t change the fact that there’s almost nothing I love as much in this world as Christmas decorations, and no one does Christmas better than the Walt Disney Company. We got the chance to tour different Disney resorts to see their gingerbread displays this week, and today, we’re sharing all we learned with you, so you can take yourself on a self-guided tour.

-The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

The King Pin of all Disney decorations, so to speak, The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is our favorite place to spend the holidays. Not only does the resort boast a two-story Christmas tree, done up in its turn of the century finest, but also a life-size gingerbread house that you can order goodies from.

-The Contemporary Resort

This year, you’ll find a gingerbread Cinderella’s castle for you to marvel at. If you’re into looking for Easter Eggs, look for the tiny Frozen characters that make an appearance in the design.

-The Beach Club Resort

The Beach Club’s main decor comes from a chocolate carousel that ACTUALLY WORKS. I’m not sure what kind of Willy Wonka magic this is, but it’s something you need to make a priority to see every Christmas season.

-The Yacht Club Resort

The Yacht Club features a tiny Christmas town, with a train running through it, as well as a nautical themed tree.

-The Wilderness Lodge Resort

New this year, is the Wilderness’s Lodge Gingerbread Cabin, which perfectly compliments the two-story tree in the lobby.

-The Boardwalk Inn

Don’t miss the Disney Boardwalk, recreated in GINGERBREAD!
